Custom Air Treatment Units (ATUs) for Complex and Non-Standard Testing Applications
Air Treatment Units (ATUs) provide an effective solution for testing scenarios where the test item cannot be accommodated within a standard environmental chamber or walk-in facility. This may be due to size constraints or the need to integrate test rigs, mechanical systems, or electronic equipment that must remain outside the conditioned environment.
In such cases, a lightweight insulated enclosure is constructed around the test item, while associated test equipment is safely positioned externally. The ATU precisely conditions the air to the required temperature and delivers it to the test area via insulated hoses or ducting.
ATUs support both long-term environmental conditioning and programmed temperature cycling, and standard systems are designed to comply with many aerospace, automotive, and electronics industry test standards. Each unit can be customised to meet specific project requirements, with bespoke enclosures, insulated ducting, and hose configurations available.
